Dublin 15 Family Support Service
News Update 9 December
Our Co-ordinator Mary hosted the second family support subgroup. It went very well and will be continuing in the new year.
SHARHP was completed in a 6th class in a primary school in D15. The pre and post evaluations showed evidence it had increased the young people's knowledge in the harms of alcohol and other substances. The feedback from the school echoed this saying it was very beneficial to the school. The plan is to run it in another school in the new year.
D15 FSS workshop and service presentations have been presented to different services around the area including the CTC and citizens information. There will be more done in December and the new year.
Laura our drug prevention worker hosted the final education prevention meeting of 2025. As always it was very well attended and beneficial to all around the table.
