BLDATF Recovery Walk 2023

News update 3 October 2023

• The BLDATF funded and coordinated a range of events for Recovery Month, with the Recovery Walk taking place on Friday 22 September
• We would like to thank the collaborative work of all agencies involved throughout planning and on the day of the Recovery Walk, which came together to make a memorable event. The agencies involved included Tolka River Project, D15 Community Addiction Team, Blanchardstown Mountview Youth Service, Dublin 15 Community Drugs Team, Neighbourhood Youth Project, Foroige and the Recovery Academy Ireland
• We would also like to thank the following for their support:
  • Hillview Stores for donating 150 bottles of water
  • Manning's bakery Blanchardstown and Dario's chip shop for supplying the refreshments at a discounted rate 
  • Healthy Fingal for donating a banner
  • The local Gardai for their participation and traffic management
  • John Boland for leading the walk 
• We cannot wait for next year, the systems and cogs are already turning!
